Greg Allen Campbell, born to James LeRoy Campbell and Doris Gene "Miller" Campbell in Warsaw, Indiana on May 27, 1955, passed away on December 16, 2023. He was one of four siblings; survived by his brother James "Brad" Campbell and sister Mary Rae Land. He was preceded in death by his mother; Doris "Miller" Campbell and brother; Gaylord Campbell.
Greg attended Taylor High School in Kokomo, Indiana and later served in the Army Armory Security Agency during the Vietnam War. His loved fishing, especially in the Canadian waters, for Northern Pike and this reflected his adventurous spirit.
After his military service, Greg lived in various places from Rusk, Texas to Indiana and finally settled in Gun Barrel City, Texas. He worked for Harco Construction out of Longview, Texas and also worked for the family business Campbell Construction which specialized in contract building for Walmart all over the United States.
Greg was a devoted family man and leaves behind a legacy of love and memories. He is survived by his father; James LeRoy Campbell, stepmother; Dorothy Campbell, his brother; James "Brad" Campbell, his two sons; Joshua Campbell and Luke Campbell, and his daughter; Sarah Campbell. Greg also leaves behind many more family members and friends who cherish the time they spent with him.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Greg's life will be held at a later date, allowing family and friends to come together and honor his memory.
