Mrs. Donna Pollock

Donna was born on September 21, 1962 in Athens, Texas to parents Alvin and Clara Beth (Hamilton) Carter and entered into eternal rest on December 31, 2014 at the age of 52. The most important thing to Donna was her family. She was a wonderful wife, mom and sister, who held her family together. Donna graduated from Mabank High School and has worked in finance for over 20 years. She enjoyed photography, decorating and doting on her children and grandchildren. Donna loved many sports and being able to watch her children; Sam and Kimi. She was dedicated to coaching Kimi’s volleyball team and was a school volunteer for all the children’s activities. Donna loved watching her daughter Kimi dance and watching Sam play baseball. She was a Southern Baptist and attended Pointview Baptist Church in Combine. Donna was a long time member of First Baptist Church in Mabank. She was a very loving lady, who was a dear friend to many people and will be truly missed.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, sister Sherry and grandmother Florence Geneive.

She is survived by her husband Larry D. Pollock of Crandall, son Aaron Bohannon and wife Sandy of Eustace, daughter Staci Owen and husband Rand of Heartland, son Heath Bohannon and wife Ashly of North Richland Hills, son Samuel T. Pollock of Crandall, daughter Kimberly D. Pollock of Crandall, sisters; Vickie Croxton and husband David of Greenville and Terri Pace and husband Byron of Kilgore, Debbie Wisniewski and husband Mark of Brentwood, TN and twin sister Brenda Carter of Kilgore, grandfather J.M. (Buck) Wheeler of Mabank, grandchildren; Matthew, Ty, Hannah, Seamus, Tristan and Wyatt, other loving family members and many more friends.
