Bessie Lou Price

Bessie Lou Dubose Stagner Price was born on February 5,1935; to parents, Richard and Lorraine Dubose, in a chicken coop during a flood, in San Angelo, Texas. She left this world on January 20, 2023, to be with her Lord and Savior. Bessie was a remarkable and vibrant woman; who loved solving puzzles, fishing, square dancing, and spending time with her beautiful family. She raised three children all on her own at the age of 32, after losing her first husband. Bessie had strong work ethic and exceptional leadership skills; her talents were used as the President of the Police Auxiliary; she was a Treasurer - Vice President - President of the American Business Association, assisting women with their college tuition; a member of the PWP, Parents without Partners group; and the owner of a Daycare, located in Grand Prairie. She had artistic talents, as well; her skills were used by painting and gardening. Bessie was a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan, but she also loved her Cowboys. She had a long and fulfilled life that will be missed by all of those she ever knew or met in her lifetime.

Bessie is preceded in death by her parents, Richard Dubose and Lorraine Albright Dubose; first husband and father to her children, Nolan Stagner; along with her loving husband, Allen Price.

She is survived by her children, Sonja Williams, Richard Stagner, Donna Bailey, and Lacie Fairchild; sister, Martha McClellan; brothers, James Dubose, Doug Dubose, Jimmy Dubose; grandchildren, Stacey Thompson, Honesty Dixon, Jeremiah Williams, Josh Williams, Amanda Pangelinan, Ronnie Stagner; great-grandchildren, Tyler Thompson, Justin Thompson, Ethan Jack, Juliahna Jack, Aubrey Byerly, Alyssa Williams, David Ray Williams, Miah Williams, Charlie Williams, Alison Williams, Daniel Williams, Abby Pangelinan, Austin Pangelinan, Owen Stagner, Olivia Stagner, Ford Fairchild, Allie Fairchild; great-great-grandchild, Hunter Jack; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
