It with great sadness the family of Robert Stonecipher announces his passing on September 17, 2010 at the age of 83 at the Good Samaritan in Puyallup, WA.
Bob was born in Langdon, North Dakota, December 11, 1926. His family moved from Langdon in 1937 when he was 10. He grew up in the Greenwood and Fremont areas, graduating from Lincoln High School. At seventeen he joined the Navy during WWII to proudly serve his country. Bob's interests included his love of Ford automobiles, books and airplanes.
He is survived by his loving wife Gloria; son, Bobby Stonecipher (Michele); daughters, Connie Geddes (Gary), Linda Richardson, and Tari Lindquist; step-sons Tim Manus (Julie) and Troy Manus; several grandchildren and step grandchildren. Bob ha many life-long friends. He has two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be held from 1-5pm on Sunday, September 26, at Purdy & Walters Funeral Home at Floral Hills located at 409 Filbert Rd. in Lynnwood. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Monday at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will follow in Floral Hills Cemetery.
