Uncle Phil,

I am so sorry. I never got a chance to say goodbye. You were an amazing uncle and I will never forget you being there along with aunt Elaine For me, my brother and my two sisters. I remember when Angie my beautiful wife had a chance to go out to your home and hang out with you and aunt Elaine that was a lot of fun and I will cherish those memories forever. Like I said uncle Phil nobody ever told me that you graduated and went home to be with the Lord, I will see you again when it’s my turn to go home in the meantime, I will always love you, and I will never forget you. Love, Gilbert.

I loved my uncle Phil he was a really good man. Phillip Dowling was my father’s older brother, the oldest member of his siblings. Uncle Phil used to tell me about how he worked for the gas company how he worked for a laundry service before that later he became a real estate agent he was always a mover always doing something. Uncle Phil was a very positive person who I could always look to for good advice because he had a sharp mind and a good character. I was incredibly blessed to have a man such as Phillip Dowling in my life in whatever way big or small. I will always always miss uncle Phil.

Mr. Dowling was always so kind. I remember the one of the many events we had at my sisters and Phil’s  house. Mrs Dowling was there too and Mr. Dowling was eating crumb cake. He loved it. He was always a good person to have conversation with. We will miss you Mr. Dowling. You are now with Mrs. Dowling. Say hi to my mom for me. I’m sure you’re all going to hang out in heaven.
