Patricia was born in Seattle, Washington on September 16, 1924 to Harry “Ruben” and Carrie Fredrickson. She graduated from Ballard High School in 1942.
During World War II, Patricia met Earl Martinez, USN, and they were married on September 7, 1945 in Seattle, Washington.
Pat was a devoted wife and mother who always had a cheerful, positive outlook on life. She raised her three children in their Lake City and Lynnwood homes. She was a wonderful homemaker, and Pat also worked as a bank teller, bookkeeper, and sales associate at Lamonts. Her organizational skills at home and at work became family legend.
Pat loved to travel - Hawaii was her favorite destination - but her family was foremost in her life. Patricia had such a positive and uplifting spirit and enjoyed life to the fullest.
Preceding her in death were her husband Earl Martinez, her parents Harry R. and Carrie Fredrickson, her brother, Ned Fredrickson, and her children Karen Adele Martinez and Michael Anthony Martinez.
Patricia is survived by her daughter, Kristin Martinez Clark, her grandchildren, Danny, David, Tricia, Michael, Tommy, Lars, and Karn and her nine great grandchildren.
Patricia was laid to rest at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills Cemetery in Lynnwood, Washington on April 8, 2016. A memorial service will be held on April 22, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills Funeral Home 409 Filbert Rd, Lynnwood, WA with a reception to follow.
