Thank you for the many gifts you gave so selflessly...of course your beautiful smile, your intelligence, your patience, and  graciousness and bravery under the worst of conditions, but with the respect, love, and support of  a grateful family, and the unwavering Love and Care of your amazing daughter Connie. It's hard to believe that it has been a  year since you've been gone from this world, and might I add to a better place.  Our lose was heavens gain.  I look back at all of the  Wednesday night's where we would gather at Mom & Dad's for a night of fun card playing and the sharing of  our favorite desserts.  Life is not the same without so many of our loved ones. I love and miss you!

I miss you and have been missing you since our final goodbye. You and Grandpa. My one true solids. If I were to write all the reasons I were grateful for you it would fill up this page.  Thank you for always making sure I knew who I was, for insuring that I get to hold my own daughter tight and and watch my granddaughter grow up. Thank you for everything you were in my life and the role you played in my journey. Every single day I choose to feel blessed, I choose to feel grateful. I choose to be excited. I choose to be thankful. I choose to be happy. And for all of that, I thank you the most. See you someday on the other side of the rainbow. We have a bond that will always be.

9 or 10 years ago  i told Pat i intended to marry her  daughter.....she smiled  and winked and invited me into her home. over the years she became a friend, and  will be as long as i live.  What i didn't realize at first was  that these beautiful ladies (Pat and Connie  ),are  warriors ( they don't snivel ),   battling  a relentless,  remorseless ,  foe. Every minute of every hour of every day ! They couldn't  win, but they DID NOT LOSE !!  The love of a mother, and the unwavering  courage and devotion of her daughter , who           fought to the end, LOVE WON.

Grandma, thank you for never losing sight of the prize. Thank you for loving me close when you could, and from a distance when you couldn't. You never stopped trying. Through out my childhood I have fond memories of anxiously waiting for your visits or phone calls with Grandpa, you both meant so much to me. I hope that somewhere you both are smiling down at me, proud of the life I have developed and the person I am today. Thank you for making sure I knew my mom loved me. Thank you for being the guide that encouraged the relationship with my mother in the quietest of ways. Without you, I wouldn't be me and I wouldn't have what I have today. I will ALWAYS love you. See you later Grandma Cooper.

For my Mother I would like to share that taking care of her for the last nine years of her life was the most rewarding thing I have ever done in my life. Also the hardest. Rest in Peace Dear Mother. I will miss you dearly. Love from your Daughter.
