Born November 03, 1938 in Norwalk, Connecticut to Rona Walker and Walter MacDonald. Proud sister to Phyllis Wolfe (Victor) of Nova Scotia, John Palmer (Diane) of Framingham, Rona Brunner (Greg) of Florida, and Melissa Palmer of Texas.
Judy was raised in Massachusetts. 3 of her 4 children were born there. Danis Elizabeth in 1962, Michelle Sloane in 1963, and Daniel Larry in 1965.
When her children were very young, Judy moved to Seattle, WA, thus, beginning her adventure as a Washingtonian from the "wet coast". Son Scott Albright was born in Edmonds, WA in 1973.
Judy always worked while raising her children. During the kids' younger years, she worked at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle, in the medical records department. During the kids' teenage years, Judy started her career with the Boeing company, as a fuel cell sealer. She worked at the Everett plant, Renton and then flight test at Boeing Field, Seattle. She loved working for the Boeing company and cherished the camaraderie she had with her Boeing co-workers. She was very proud to be a Boeing retiree.
Judy had many hobbies, talents and interests. She liked to sew, made her daughters and granddaughter clothes when they were young. She was a fantastic cook, liked to plan and host parties for friends and family. Antiques and antiquing, a life-long hobby, her collections her joy. She spent many hours re-finishing and re-upholstering antique furniture. She found joy in sharing her antique "finds" with family and friends. In retirement, getting together with her friends for a drink, often the highlight of her day. Music made her happy. Reading her passion, she read a book every evening.
Judy was funny and facetious. We will all remember her for her sayings "just mucking about", "just ducky", and her famous "Raise Hell".
Judy was preceded in death by her precious daughter Danis Kadow, her precious son Scott Caldwell and her wonderful husband James Carver. She is survived by daughter Michelle Palmer and son Daniel Palmer. Judy has 4 delightful grandchildren: Megan Palmer, Alexander Palmer, Jesse Palmer and Christian Kadow.
Fierce, Independent, Loyal, Strong, Devoted, Wise, Unique. Judy would always say "Life is an adventure, it's trials and tribulations character building" As is a tale, or a good novel, so is a life; not how long it is, but how good it is, that brings us cause to celebrate.
