Joshua David Gillam

Joshua David Gillam was born on January 11, 1995, in Kirkland, Washington to the proud parents of David and Cynthia Gillam. Joshua passed away on July 18, 2015 near Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. He is survived by parents David and Cynthia, his brother Jonathan, and his sister Carolina. Growing up, Joshua enjoyed NASCAR, camping, the military, playing any games, music, piano, and drums. He graduated from Cascade High School in 2013 where he played on the drum line in the marching band all four years. He attended Boot Camp for the Marines in California. After graduating Boot Camp, he attended his Military Occupational Specialty school for logistics. He then was assigned to Camp Lejeune as an Ammo Tech. He was promoted to Lance Corporal and has received these awards: Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, a Letter of Appreciation for outstanding service while temporarily assigned to EOTG, and a Certificate of Commendation from 2D Supply Battalion.
