In Loving Memory of John Ofstad
It is with heavy hearts and sadness that we say goodbye to our beloved stepfather John Ofstad. He departed from this world on Monday, May 29, 2023. 
One of John's greatest passions was his love for cars, trucks, and guns. He possessed an incredible knowledge and appreciation for these vehicles and firearms, which he eagerly shared with anyone who would lend an ear. Whether it was discussing the latest models, sharing stories of his own experiences, or meticulously maintaining his prized possessions.
Beyond his mechanical pursuits, John was also a skilled craftsman. His talent for craftsmanship was evident in the beautiful tables he created from slices of redwood, each one meticulously handcrafted and finished with a glossy lacquer. These tables became coveted pieces, admired by all who had the pleasure of witnessing John's artistry. His ability to transform raw materials into breathtaking works of art was a testament to his creativity and dedication to his craft.
As we say goodbye to John, we take solace in the belief that he is now in a better place, free from pain and suffering. We find comfort in knowing that his legacy lives on through the memories we hold dear.
Let us remember John Ofstad as a stepfather, father and grandfather, a skilled craftsman, and a passionate enthusiast. May his soul rest in eternal peace, knowing that he will forever be cherished and dearly missed.
