John “Jack” Daniel Dinniene, age 82, of Mill Creek, Washington passed away as a result of complications with Parkinson’s Disease.
He was born in San Francisco, CA on July 28, 1941, to John Waterson Dinniene and Kathleen May Murphy. Jack is survived by his loving wife Liling of 55 years, and his son, Kyle. Jack is also survived by his niece Wendy Alexander, and many relatives and friends that are close to his heart.
Jack graduated from Sacred Heart High School in San Francisco, CA. and earned his Bachelor’s Degree from San Francisco State University in 1963. He’s an alum of Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity.
His career started in California Dept of Highways where he was exposed to the real estate industry and met his wife. In 1971, they relocated to Alaska to pursue outdoor adventures including hiking, fishing, ice fishing and cross-country skiing. The indoor adventure was curling.
The family moved to Oregon for a short ten months before settling in Seattle, WA, in 1974. Attracted to the easily accessible scenic surroundings of mountains and water, Seattle reminded him of a young sister city, San Francisco. After obtaining the MAI designation, in 1984, he established Northwest Valuation Services, becoming an independent Commercial Real Estate Appraiser. He retired in 2017 to enjoy the finer things of life. A glass of fine wine or two!
Jack & Liling traveled frequently, exploring countries on five continents: North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Australia. And when not traveling, Jack stayed active playing basketball, baseball, volleyball, boxing and of course running.
The family would like to thank the staff at Providence Hospital in Everett, Bloom Care Adult Family Home, and Cogir of Mill Creek for their love and care.
A reception will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024 at Cogir of Mill Creek, 14905 Bothell Everett Hwy, Mill Creek, WA 98012 at 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA at a later date.
