Janet Kay Anderson

Janet Kay Anderson (Jan) of Lynnwood, Washington went to be with Jesus our Lord on Monday, February 13, 2023 at the age of 82 years. She was born on August 9, 1940 in Superior, Wisconsin. However, Jan grew up in Seattle, Washington as her parents moved to Seattle when she was a baby.

Jan graduated from Roosevelt High school and pursued additional education at Seattle Pacific College and Shoreline Community College.

She had several work experiences as military housing receptionist, hostess at Ivar's Salmon House in Seattle and bookstores.

She was actively involved in churches, significant volunteer work with Healing The Children, Juvenile Diversion Committee, Snow Leopard Trust, Docent at Woodland Park Zoo and others.

Jan was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Anderson, her mother, Esther Anderson, and her grandmother, Katherine Okerstrom.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Curt Anderson. Also two children, Brock Anderson and Brytt Keel, and son-in-law Mark Keel. She was also blessed with four grandchildren, Symone Keel, Jeven Keel, Brayden Anderson and Austyn Anderson.

Jan was fond of music, books, ice skating, cocker spaniels and loved Hawaii. She made several trips there with her husband Curt and friends. She had many lasting friendships. The family would like to thank Archangel Adult Family Home for the care and compassion they showed Jan in her final days always watching over her.
