Shawn Dyer

He is survived by his beloved sons, Caleb and Aiden Federico-Dyer of Salem New Hampshire, parents Louise Gauthier-Schriefer, and the late Robert Schriefer of Salem New Hampshire, brother, Jason Murphy of Salem New Hampshire sister, Pamela Webster of Milford New Hampshire, step-sister, Danielle Ventre of Lynnfield, (late) step-brother, Robert Schriefer Jr. of Saugus, father, George Dyer of Lynn, and beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many, many friends.

He worked at the Shining Star Tattoo Shop in downtown Peabody, MA for 10 plus years. Shawn lived most of his life in Lynn and attended Lynn Vocational Technical School. He mentored under Tracy Divine, a well known tattoo artist and friend, and began his career at the Purple Scorpion in Beverly, MA. Shawn was a phenomenal tattoo artist and his expertise was well known throughout the area. He had a great passion for his work and enjoyed sharing it with others. Shawn also loved to attend tattoo conventions and had a great sense of humor and loved people. He had a great love for his family, friends, especially his sons, Caleb and Aiden.

Visiting hours will be held at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St., Lynn, on Saturday, April 6th, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at the Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Summer St, Saugus, MA. Interment will be private.
