He was born on May 1, 1939 to the late Amedee “Pete” and Anna (Robichaud) Legere.
Roger was a lifelong Lynn resident, graduating from Lynn Classical High School, class of 1957. Roger was extremely proud to serve his country as a member of the US Navy. He served on the U.S.S. Taconic.
Roger had a successful career working as a Ramp Serviceman for TWA until his retirement.
He enjoyed volunteering at St. Jean’s Church for many years, helping wherever he was needed.
He was the devoted husband to Charlotte (Hiltz) Legere, with whom he shared 58 wonderful years of marriage, beloved father to Donald R. Legere, and Caren (Legere) and her husband Jason Driskell, and cherished grandfather to Liam. He will be missed by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Rita H. Legere and brother Gerald R. Legere.
Family and friends are welcome to gather for Roger’s visitation on Tuesday October 18, 2022 from 4 pm – 7 pm at the Cuffe McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn.
His Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday October 19, 2022 at 10 am at St. Pius V Church, 215 Maple Street, Lynn. All are requested to meet directly at the church.
Burial to follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
