Phyllis Marie (Violanto) Berfield, 64, of Lynn, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, January 2, 2020. A lifelong resident of Lynn, Phyllis was born in Dorchester on July, 16, 1955 to the late Pamela Violanto.
Phyllis was a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant at the Devlin House for 15 years. She then went on to work for the New England Home for the Deaf where she worked for the past 16 years. She had a passion for cosmetics and was considered to be a professional esthetician. She was also an honorary member of the “Best Mothers Club.”
She was the cherished mother of Charles “Chaz” M. Berfield II and Andrew P. Berfield; the devoted girlfriend of Thomas Naimo; the former spouse to Charles M. Berfield; and the dear BFF to Lois Passanisi and Tricia McIntosh. Phyllis is predeceased by her mother, Pamela Violanto.
Visiting hours for Phyllis will be held on Monday, January 6th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 PM. Friends and family are respectfully invited to join. Burial will be at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody
