Mary Elizabeth DeMarco

Born in Lynn to the late David and Rolanda (Berthiaume) Lomasney. She grew up in Lynn, graduated from Lynn Classical High School and Essex Agricultural and Technical School and later raised her family in Lynn.

Mary was the former owner of Subs N More sub shop in Lynn and worked at Supreme Sub in McDonough Square for many years where she was a staple of the community.

She loved her grandchildren, friends, needle point, and Bingo. She loved traveling to the Lakes Region and White Mountains of New Hampshire, and also enjoyed going to Atlantic City, Foxwoods and Las Vegas with friends. Mary also enjoyed going to yard sales and playing computer games as she watched the birds outside her window.

Mary was the devoted mother of Amy Cruz and her husband John of Port St Lucie FL and Pamela DeMarco and her husband Brian Schoener of Waltham MA; the cherished grandmother of Catrina Wright of Port St Lucie, FL, Quincy Wright of Cohoes, NY, Clyde Gill of Waltham MA, and Richard Gill of Waltham MA; great grandmother of Capri Ramirez of Port St Lucie, FL; and the loving sister of David Lomasney, Tommy Lomasney, Patsy Sheedy, Johnny Lomasney, Billy Lomasney and Jimmy Lomasney.

In addition to her husband Leonard and her parents, Mary is predeceased by her sons Anthony L. DeMarco and Gregory DeMarco, and her brother Michael Lomasney.

Friends and family are invited to attend Mary’s visitation on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home. A funeral service for Mary will follow at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to Care Dimensions Hospice, www.caredimensions.org, or a hospice organization of your choosing.
