Mary F. "Fran" Flynn Curley

Fran was born in Lynn, daughter of the late John and Nora (Primrose) Flynn. She was a lifelong resident of the city and was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School Class of 1944.

Fran was a longtime communicant of Our Lady of Assumption Church where she was also involved in many social clubs. She also enjoyed playing Bingo and was an avid sports fan.

She was a devoted mother to her children Brian Curley and his wife Ann Marie of Derry, NH, Joseph Curley and his wife Ann of Danvers, Maureen Dow and her husband Deacon Paul of Boxford and Eileen Moore of Farmington, ME. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late Margaret “Peggy” Nyman and mother in law of the late Richard Nyman.

Fran’s Funeral will be Friday at 9:00 AM from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple St. Lynn. Her Funeral Mass will be in Our Lady of Assumption Church, Lynnfield at 10:00 AM. Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday from 4-8 PM. Interment will be in St. Josephs Cemetery.
