Born December 15, 1946 in Norfolk, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Louis B. and Mary Rachel (Thomasson) Hamlin.
Loretta is survived by her husband of 55 years, Francis A. Walsh; three daughters, Christina Walsh of Lowell, Louise Walsh of Lowell, and Margaret Walsh of Saugus; and three grandchildren, Chris Walsh, Caleb Walsh and Trevor Kay-Walsh. She is also survived by her brother Richard Hamlin of San Diego, CA, William Potter of Culpeper, Virginia, and Gayle Potter Kinney of Zebulon, NC.
The family will receive friends and family Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home located at 157 Maple Street, Lynn.
Memorial services will be conducted at 3pm Sunday, October 17, 2021 at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home. A brief reception will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in Loretta’s honor.
