Lawrence J. Sullivan

He was born in Lynn, son of the late John L. and Julia (Burns) Sullivan.

Lawrence worked for the Massachusetts Electric Company as a Supervisor for 40 years until his retirement.

He was a WW II Navy veteran

He was a long time member of the Volunteer Yacht Club where he was a Past Commadore. He was also a member of the Commadores Club of America and of Mass Bay Assn. The Blown Fuses and the Mass Electric Retirees Assoc. He was a former Lynn Harbormaster.

He leaves his 3 daughters Carol Smith of Londonderry,NH, Rita Hanson of Danvers and Janice Lareaux-Leighton and her husband Jack of Lynn. His 4 grandchildren Ricky Lareaux, Deborah Franey, Scott Smith and Todd Plante. Also survived by many great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

He was the father of the late Harvey “Chuck” Lareaux and brother of the late John, Daniel and Raymond Sullivan and Eleanor Williams.

His Funeral Services will be in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. Lynn Friday at 12:00 (noon). Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Gifts in his memory may be made to the Salvation Army, Broadway Saugus, MA 01906. Interment will be in St. Josephs Cemetery.
