Laurie A. Cormier

Born in Lynn to the late Raymond and Beth (McGown) Cormier. Laurie was a graduate of Lynn Tech. She worked for Salem Hospital and at Walmart in Lynn as a store greeter and a retail clerk.

She enjoyed arts and crafts, keeping in touch with friends on Facebook, playing bingo and attending social activities at Kings Beach Towers. She cherished her time spent with family and friends and always had a smile. Laurie was supported by the caring staff at Seven Hills Foundation and attended the Rainbow Adult Day program in Peabody where she had many friends.

Laurie is survived by her loving brother Michael Cormier of Peabody; her cherished nephews Ryan and Justin Cormier of Peabody; her aunts and uncles Peggy Gagnon and her husband Dennis, Sue Wagner, Steve McGown and his wife Donna, Don Cormier, Lou Cormier, Bob Cormier and his wife Carol; and many cousins.

Friends and family are invited to attend Laurie’s visitation on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to NortheastARC, www.ne-arc.org.
