Joanne Marie Silvonic

Joanne Marie (Calvani) Silvonic of Lynn, passed away in her home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, October 14, 2015, she was 75. Born in Lynn on August 24, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Marino and Anna (DiCarlo) Calvani. Joanne was raised and educated in Lynn and was a graduate of St. Mary’s Girls High School. She was employed as a Quality Inspector for the Norelco Co. for over 20 years. Joanne enjoyed going out to eat with family and friends and was a true people person. She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched. Joanne was the loving wife of 55 years to John Silvonic of Lynn; the devoted mother of John Silvonic and his wife, Maureen of Wakefield, Joseph Silvonic and his wife, Laurie of Lynnfield, and Jodi Pierce and her husband, Paul of Haverhill; and the cherished grandmother of Eddie Hoar of Houston, TX, Alexandra and Gabrielle Silvonic, both of Lynnfield, Ryan Silvonic and his wife, Kelly of Billerica, Breanna Silvonic of Hudson and Kylie Silvonic of Woburn; as well as her loving brothers-in-law, Joe and James Silvonic, both of Lynn and her sister-in-law, Mary Silvonic of Taunton. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the CUFFE-McGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Sunday, Oct. 18, 2015 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM.
