Born in Boston on April 9, 1943 he was the son of the late Joseph and Frances (Sarcia) DiModica.
Dominic was the cherished brother of Sebastian S. DiModica of Woburn, and Anne C. DiModica of Lynn. He was the loving uncle of Renee Caron and her husband Jeff of Lynn, Lisa Giannotti and great uncle of Sofia Caron. He also leaves behind many loving cousins and friends. Dominic went to school at Saint Joseph’s in Boston, and later moved to Lynn and worked with his brother at Sebastian’s Custom Framing. He was a genuinely nice, funny guy who loved to be around his family and enjoyed family cooked meals. He enjoyed watching sports, especially when there was a good Red Sox-Yankees game on and occasionally liked to go to the casino and buy a scratch ticket or 2. Dominic will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Friends and family are invited to attend Dominic’s visiting hours on Thursday, September 1, from 4pm – 8pm, followed by a rosary prayer service lead by Deacon Bill Jackson, in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street, Lynn. At the family’s request, his funeral and burial will be private.
