Debbie Janian

Mrs. Deborah J. (Galante) Janian, age 64, of Salem, formerly of Lynn, passed away, Monday, December 12, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. Deb was the beloved wife of Wayne L. Janian, with whom she shared 34 years of marriage.

Born in Lynn, Debbie was the daughter of Jean (DeVito) Galante and the late John Galante; she was the loving mother of Laura Janian of Plaistow, NH; the cherished grandmother of Arianna, Nicholas, and Jacoby Tilden; the dear sister of Kathy St.Claire and her husband, Harold of West Palm Beach, FL, Johnny Galante of Tewksbury, Billy Galante and his wife, Dawn of Lynn, and the late Jimmy Galante; and the aunt of several nieces and nephews. She attended Lynn Schools and was a graduate of Lynn English High School Class of 1970. She worked at Verizon Telephone, formerly NYNEX Yellow Pages publishing for 28 years prior to her retirement in 1998. After her retirement she served as parish secretary up until recently at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Salem. Deb enjoyed traveling with her family in the winter to Florida, the beach and most of all spending time with her grandchildren

Deborah’s funeral service will be held on Friday, December 16th at 10:00 a.m. at the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, December 15th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
