Grace J. Bayne

Grace was born on December 12, 1912 in the Town of Ridgeway to the late Leon and Mary Blanche (Newman) Joy.

She attended Medina High School, graduating in 1930.

In 1933 she married the late Wilbur Bayne, and together they made their home in the Lyndonville area, raising two children.

She worked for the Albion Dept. of Motor Vehicles for 15 years, retiring in 1975.

Grace was a member of the Lyndonville Presbyterian Church, and enjoyed reading and puzzles.

She is survived by her two children: Carolyn Dill of Lyndonville, and Kenneth W. Bayne Sr., of Winterhaven, FL. She is also survived by 7 Grandchildren, Steven (Nancy) Dill , Cynthia (Raymond) Groves, Valerie (James) Wells, Kenneth Bayne Jr., Michael Bayne, and Gregory Bayne, Kelly Mills, 15 Great-grandchildren, and 11 Great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband Wilbur, she is predeceased by 2 brothers and 2 sisters, a grandson, Jeffery Bayne.

There are no calling hours. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
