William "Papa" Lynwood Farris

William Lynwood Farris (Papa), 63, of Lynchburg, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 15, 2022. Born on March 30, 1959 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Wallace E. Farris and Delores H. Farris. He was a fun-loving, devoted family man and known as a jack of all trades. He loved spending time with his wife, children, six grandchildren and his dogs. He faithfully attended Thomas Road Baptist Church. He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Patricia C. Farris; two sons, William Brandon Farris (Lorin) and Edward Adam Farris (Crystal); his grandchildren (who were the loves of his life) Logan, Dillon, Kayleigh, Samantha, Ava and Mathilda; brother Mike Farris (Kitty); and sister, Sharon Dudley (Bobby). A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
