Tiffany Moody Gokey

Tiffany Moody Gokey, age 36 of Forest passed away April 22, 2017 at her residence. She was born on May 9, 1980 in Georgia, daughter of Wendi G. Moody and the late John W. Moody, Jr. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Richard S. Gokey; children, Kaylee, Jakob, Jason, and Karoline Gokey; a brother, John Moody, III; paternal grandparents, John Moody, Sr. and Eva Moody; maternal grandparents, Jerry and Gaye Greene. She is also survived by her Deaf Church Family. Tiffany loved Jesus, her family and her church family with all her heart. She loved to laugh. She was the famous “Deaf Lucy”. She loved being outside enjoying nature and animals with a special passion for pigs. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Living Word Baptist Church with Pastor John Wyble officiating. Burial will follow at Tree of Life Cemetery. The family will receive friends during a reception in the church Fellowship Hall which will follow the committal service. Arrangements under the direction of Whitten Timberlake Chapel, Lynchburg, VA.
