Theresa Jane Brown

Theresa Jane Brown, 68, of Lynchburg, went home to walk with Jesus, Friday, November 4, 2011 at the Medical Care Center. She was the wife of the late James Martin Brown. Born January 17, 1943 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Norman Scott Crist and the late Nell Jackson Crist Wicky. She was retired from the Hilton Corporation and was a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church. Mrs. Brown is survived by her daughter, Sherrilynn Marie Walsh of Forest; sons, Mark Hamilton Spears of Naples, FL and Scott Gregory Spears of Cherry Hill, NJ; sister, Jerrilynn Elder of Forest; brother, Lawrence Arthur and wife, Patti of Lynchburg and three grandchildren, Thomas H. Walsh, IV, Tyler H. Spears, and Jacob A. Spears. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Pastor Jonathan Falwell officiating. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m., Monday, November 7, 2011 at the funeral home and other times at the home of her sister, Jerrilynn.
