Suzanne Prince Morton

Suzanne Prince Morton, 76, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Morton. Born in Richmond, July 1, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Orrin Prince and Mary Katherine Handley Prince. She was worked at Regent University for over 28 years were she won three presidents awards. She later accepted a position at Liberty University where she retired from in June. She and her husband attended Beulah Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Timothy Patrick Morton of Duck, NC and her daughter, Emily Paige Morton White and her husband Cory of Portland, Oregon. A memorial service celebrating her life will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Pastor Dennis Hollandsworth officiating. The family will receive friends following the service until 4:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Beulah Baptist Church Food Bank, 528 Leesville Rd., Lynchburg, VA 24502 or to the American Cancer Society.
