On the morning of the thirteenth day of November 2016 our heavenly Father sent his angles to bring Rose Austin Hahn to her new home in heaven. Rose had spent 80 blessed years on this earth that God created for her, and now she will spend eternity in Heaven with her Heavenly Father and ALL loved one’s gone before her. She passed away peacefully in her home in Bedford VA where she was surrounded by her loving and caring family. Rose spent 58 years of her life with her husband on Timberlake Road. Rose was a member of Marsh Memorial United Methodist Church on Leesville Road in Lynchburg Va. Rose was a loving woman who cared for her family with an open heart.
Rose is survived by her loving husband Alfred R. Hahn of 60 years, her son C. Ray Hahn, and his wife Pamela D. Hahn, and granddaughters Raychel and Kelly. Rose is also survived by her loving brother Kit Austin and his wife Rita. Rose also left behind numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins whom she loved very much.
Rose was preceded in death by her Father and Mother Nathan and Rachel Austin, Brother Paul Austin, Sisters Mildred Lynch, Lillian Smith, and Ella Wood. Rose was also preceded by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. One can only imagine the family reunion that is going on in Heaven.

The family will receive friends from 3 – 5 pm on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel followed by a funeral service starting at 5:30 pm with Reverend Graham Jarrell officiating. Interment will be private.
