Nancy Williams Cassidy

Nancy Williams Cassidy, 89, of Lynchburg went home to be with her Lord Saturday, December 9, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Ernest McKinley Williams and Minnie Henderson Williams. Born January 5, 1934 Nancy was a very family oriented individual who always made time for those she held dear. She made every effort to attend family events, recitals, ball games, band competitions, anything involving grandkids. She also enjoyed traveling and driving with family and friends to many destinations. In addition to her parents Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Frank Lee Cassidy and brother Ernest M. Williams Jr. Those left to cherish Nancy’s Memory include her children Carole C. Cross, Lynn C. Maddox and her husband Dale, Mike Cassidy and his wife Wendy; her 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Timberlake Christian Church at 1pm with Pastor Ben Moore officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 12, 2023 from 6-7:30 pm at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. A graveside service will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery.
