Born on February 21, 1945, in Manila, Philippines, she was the daughter of the late Francisco Teodocio and Erlinda Villamor Teodocio.
Marietta's legacy is one of love and family. She is survived by her husband, Patrick Van Clapdurp, and four daughters: Cindy Haskins, Karen Warren, Donna Michailou, and Rosalinda Villamor. Her love extended to her ten grandchildren: Alecia Haskins, Jayden Haskins, Jamie Engleman, Brendan Engleman, Alaina Warren, Eleni Michailou, Angelo Michailou, Zazzez Zapata Jr, Arjay Zapata, and Angel Zapata. Marietta was also blessed with one great-grandchild, Luca Engleman.
Marietta was a woman of many passions. She loved the beach, finding peace and joy in its vastness and beauty. Marietta had a special place in her heart for cats, nurturing and caring for them with a gentle touch. Her love for cooking was evident as she spent many hours in the kitchen and her crafting and gardening skills added beauty to her surroundings.
Marietta's caring heart extended beyond her family to all those around her. She nursed numerous cats back to health, embodying her compassionate nature. She loved spending time with her daughters and grandchildren, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
Marietta's family was her top priority, and she always worried about their well-being. Her love and concern for her family knew no bounds, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
To honor Marietta's memory, the family will receive friends on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests contributions to be made to the Lynchburg Humane Society, 1211 Old Graves Mill Rd, Lynchburg, VA 24502, in honor of Marietta's love for animals.
