Today I was riding the Harley and fondly remembering my teenage mentor. John had graciously donated his time to "the kid down the street" by taking me fishing and teaching me woodworking. John also was my introduction to motorcycles.  It's been years since we spoke and today I decided to look him up. It saddens me to find out that he is no longer with us.  The world lost a good one.

Only heard of John's passing today. I was shocked! What a great guy we have lost. John did a lot of work for me in the past and was a rare find in workmanship, character and friendship. It hurts to know he is gone! I did not know his family but I'm sure they know what a jewel they have in heaven.

Very saddened to hear of Johns passing. We shared some good times when he lived in Massena NY. I lost track of him over the years but thought of him often. Gone too soon. Rest in Peace John. Condolences to family and my cousins.

To John's brothers and sisters.  I'm sure you don't remember me but I'm Vernon's youngest sister, I live in Henderson, NV.  So sorry to hear about John. When we moved to Nevada, John came and lived with us for about 6 months. He was a great guy and was fun having him around, that would have been maybe 1973 or 1974.  My sincere sympathy. John was a very giving and caring person. I met him at the Kingdom Hall quick builds. Sweet sleep, my dearest brother, until you awaken in paradise earth. You will be dearly missed.

John, my brother, was a very good, kind man who was dearly loved. Always ready to help and was there whenever needed. He lived with kindness in his heart and showed it everyday.  A shining example for us all. He loved his family and left way way too soon. My memories of him will be cherished forever. He will never be forgotten and will always be in our hearts. I met John through my dear friends Warren and Julia Bussler and Patrick and Stacie Callahan.  He had the reputation of a kind person always ready to help. We were glad to have known him.

John was my nephew and my very first Godchild.  I watched him grow from his birth and shared many happy occasions with him over the years.  My children grew up with him and we have reminisced about some of their times together especially our times at John's Pond at Otis Air Force Base.  As a youngster, he was quite mischievious and a prangster and my children were right in there with him!  John grew up to be a very good man.  He dearly loved his children and his two adorable granddaughters, his brothers and sisters and family and friends.  He has left a void that cannot be filled but we will keep him close in our memory.  You left us too soon John but you will remain in our hearts forever.  Love you, Aunt Barbara

John was my son-in-law for 30 years and he was like a son to me.  He was always there ready to help when I needed him as well a lot of other people, especially the older ones in the congregation.  He would do anything for anybody no what time.  I will miss him a lot and look forward to seeing him the new Paradise earth.  Love Grandma Chance.

I did not have a chance to interact with John that much, but all the times I did ,he was always a nice and friendly person to me. My thoughts are with you Shannon at this time.
