Gracie Estelle Gowen, 85, born January 29, 1925 in Campbell County, left this world to be with our heavenly Father, Monday, May 31, 2010 at the Medical Care Center.
She was one of nine children and has only one sister, Frances Mason surviving. Gracie is also survived by four children, Linda L. Turner, Betty L. Winnagle and husband, James, Jerry Hudson Lowden and wife, Linda, and Vickie Lynn Price; nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and many friends. She will be missed greatly by all of us.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Whitten Park Avenue Chapel with Dr. Larry Randall officiating. The family will receive friends following the service until 8:30 p.m.
