 Obituario de Earl Jimmy Ray Stinnett
Earl Ray “Jimmy” Stinnett, 79, of Lynchburg passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at Virginia Baptist Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Peggy Pritchett Stinnett. Born in Hot Springs, June 16, 1931, he was a son of the late James Ray and Frances Hodge Stinnett. He was retired from Lynchburg Foundry after 30 years of service. He proudly served his country in the US Navy. Mr. Stinnett was also an avid hunter and fisherman and was a past member of the Bath County Hunt Club. He was a longtime member and Deacon of Euclid Christian Church. His primary focus and dedication was on his family, always putting them first. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Lisa S. Dibble and her husband Dan of Lynchburg; two brothers, Eddie Stinnett of Annandale and Rodney Stinnett of Sky Valley, GA; one sister, Audrey Frazier of Lynch Station; two step-grandchildren, Philip Dibble and Kylene Dibble-Tuchmayer and her husband Jeremy and their daughter Lilith. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with the Rev. Debbie Harmon and Dr. Ed Parrish, III officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
