Born May 16, 1995 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of Tracy Rhodes (Tony) and Jason Hamilton, Sr. (Michelle) and is also survived by her precious son, Clay Richard Hamilton; four brothers, Kolby Rhodes, Taylor Rhodes, Tayden Rhodes, and Jason Hamilton, Jr.; four sisters, Jazmine Rhodes, Taylee Rhodes, Aliyah Hamilton, and Brooklyn Hamilton.
She is also survived by her grandparents, Terry Wood, Rita Wood, Janet Wise, and Debbie Roches and her great grandmother, Evelyn Keesee and many other special family members and friends.
Destiny was preceded in death by her great grandfathers, Richard Keesee and Harry Wood, her grandmother, Rhonda Wood and her great grandmother, Marie Wood.
After Destiny attended Jefferson Forest High School, she went on to graduate from CVCC, with an Associate’s Degree in General Studies. Destiny was a creative artist who loved to draw and paint. She loved listening to music and going on hikes. She had a longing to help people and had a love for kittens.
Destiny had been attending Calvary Cross Baptist Church.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Pastor Sam Stump, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends, following the service.
