David Addison Gibson

David Addison Gibson, 73 of Lynchburg passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022. He was born on December 9, 1948 in Lynchburg, son of the late Rossey E. Gibson, Sr. and the late Eleanor G. Gibson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Rossey E. Gibson, Jr. David was a retired mail carrier with the United States Post Office. He enjoyed listening to music, especially rock and roll as well as reading true crime novels. Survivors include his brother, John R. Gibson; sister in law, Maria Gibson and two nieces, Angela Gibson and Christine Crist. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. The family requests that flowers be omitted.
