Cynthia Lee Davidson Eades

Cynthia Lee McKenna Davidson Eades, 75, of Concord, passed away, Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at her daughter, Deborah’s residence. Twice married, she was the wife of the late James “Jim” Thomas Eades, Sr. and the late Phillip E. McKenna, Sr.

Born September 23, 1946 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Braxton T. and Mary Walden Davidson and was also preceded in death by three brothers, Rudolph, Harold, and Franklin and three sisters, Ruby, Ruth, and Gladiola. Cynthia was retired from child care services and was a member of Jordan Baptist Church.

Cynthia is survived by a daughter, Deborah Cox and husband Robert of Evington; a son, Eddie McKenna and wife Tracy of Concord; six grandchildren, Heather Lynn Watson and husband Nathan, Samantha Ashley Spence and husband Joey, Corey Wright, and Misty Pribble and husband Kris; Rhonda Robertson, and Richard Cox and thirteen great-grandchildren, Christian and Jason Watson, Halen, Ryan, and Jordan Willis, Miranda, Skylar, and Julian Spence, Elizabeth Sigmon, Ava Pribble, Jacob and Nathan Robertson, and Emily Cox.

The family would like to send their appreciation and thanks to Monica Hall.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Jordan Baptist Church with The Rev. Dr. Melvin Campbell officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends, for one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
