Craig Thomas Peery

Born February 26, 1974, he was the beloved son of Bert and Linda Peery of Lynchburg. He was the grandson of the late Ollie and Caroline Freeman. Craig was very creative and often presented his family with unique gifts he designed and made, many of which represented his trust in God. He was an avid guitarist and enjoyed outdoor activities, especially riding his motorcycle. Craig was an employee of United Parcel Service for over 25 years.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Dennis Peery (Anu) of Great Falls, and sisters Sharon Taylor (Rodney) of Madison and Crystal Reynolds (Robert) of Forest. Also left to cherish his memory are nieces and nephews Brittany Tyree, Wyatt Taylor, Ethan Taylor, Cole Taylor, Claire Reynolds, Maya Peery, Dilan Peery, and Caroline Reynolds. Craig also leaves behind many other family members and close friends.

A celebration of Craig’s life will be held August 11, 2018 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Whitten Timberlake Chapel officiated by Pastor Lonni Wickard. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Lynchburg Humane Society. The family would like to thank the Neurological Intensive Care Unit at Lynchburg General Hospital for the care Craig was given.
