 Obituario de Charlie Ralph Tucker
Charlie Ralph Tucker, 84, of Lynchburg, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2014. He was the loving husband of the late Jean Golladay Tucker. Born on August 7, 1930 in Halifax County, he was the son of the late Charlie J. and Christine E. Tucker. Ralph served our country as a Sargent in the United States Army. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Lynchburg and he enjoyed gardening. Ralph retired from Lynchburg Storage as the office manager with 44 years of service and from JB Moore Electrical with 10 years of service. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin Tucker and Wayne Tucker and a sister, Joyce Tucker. He is survived by his son, Charles R. Tucker and wife Donna of Lynchburg; daughter, Diane T. Meeks of Lynchburg; grandchildren, Wendy T. Ward and husband Dustin, Justin M. Tucker, and Anthony S. Meeks all of Lynchburg; one great granddaughter, Melody J. Ward; two sisters-in-law, Sue Tucker and Jackie Tucker; and a special friend, Albert Maxey. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 23, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm at Whitten Timberlake Chapel and at other times at the residence of Charles and Donna Tucker, 1059 Coronado Lane in Lynchburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
