Born August 2, 1933 in Daniels, WV, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Clyde Deck and the late Ruth Curtis Deck Perdue. Mrs. Miller-Meade was also preceded in death by two brothers, Gray Kerth Deck and Elden Eugene Deck. She was a retired cashier with the City of Lynchburg and was a member of Sandusky Baptist Church. Mrs. Miller-Meade was a talented homemaker, most of her life and utilized her considerable skills to serve and show love to her family and friends.
Mrs. Miller-Meade is survived by her son, David Miller and wife Beth; her daughter, Veronica Glover and husband Ray; grandchildren, Ashley Jarrett (Jason), Christopher Glover (Stephanie), Melissa Austin (Corey), Luke Miller (Jessica), and Megan Hardy (Justin) and great grandchildren, Cecily Austin, Brecken Austin, Jaden Jarrett, and Journey Jarrett. Mrs. Meade is also survived by her beloved canine companion, Angel.
A service to celebrate Mrs. Meade’s life will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 29, 2022 in the Mausoleum Chapel at Fort Hill Memorial Park with The Rev. Ed Vogt officiating.
