He was born on September 16, 1951 to the late Mr. Wilson Freeman and Mrs. Clara Mae Freeman Hunt.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Rudolph Freeman, Adolph (Dick) Freeman and James Earl (Jimmy) Freeman.
He leaves to cherish his memory three sons, James Kiser of Carthage, NC, Jason Freeman (Ashley) of Supply, NC, Matthew Wilson Freeman (Stephanie) of Long, NC; one daughter Crystal (Megan) Freeman-Sharpe (George) of Raeford; one brother, John Kenneth Freeman (Millet) of Kuwait; four sisters, Joyce Mitchell (Mitch William), Margaret Oxendine (George), Dorothy Locklear and Retha Freeman all of Lumberton, NC; two grandsons; four granddaughters; a special nephew Gerald Maynor; also many nephews, nieces and friends.
His caregivers were his beloved sister and brother-in-law who he lived with, Mitch (William) and Joyce Mitchell.
