Mrs. Isabell Savage Davis was born in Columbus County, North Carolina to Mr. Jack “Buddy” Savage and Catheron Mitchell Savage on March 18,1927 and attended Columbus County Public Schools. She accepted Christ at an early age, and was a long time member of Hickory Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Ms.Davis worked at Southern National Bank for 22 years. Anyone who knew “Miss Web”, as she was affectionately called, was known for her love of family, and for her love of cooking. No family reunion was complete without her fabulous peach cobbler, or red velvet cake. Her mission in life was to take care of others, and that is what she did until the very end.
She is survived by one sister Mrs. Ola Mae Graham of Panama City, Florida and is she preceded in death by four brothers, Mr. Henry Savage (Mandy),
Mr. Thomas Savage (Elease), Mr. Johnny Clift Savage (Odie), and Mr. Steadman Savage (Evelyn) and two sisters Mrs. Lizzie (Early Adams) and Mrs. Ruth Chestnut. She is survived by her husband of 69 years Mr. Julius Davis of Lumberton NC, two daughters Ms. Gatha Ocasio, and Mrs. Wyvonnie Riley (Jimmy) of Jacksonville, FL.; Grandchildren, Mrs. Kristen Killens (Gregory), Mrs. Amy Nieves (Charles), Mr. Victor Branagan, Mrs. Regina Crowder (Keith), Mr. Julian Thomas, Mr. Cornell Riley, Mr. Patrick Ocasio, and her great grandchildren Summer Killens, Elle and Ivy Nieves, and Love Branagan.
