Our family and community lost an important person who was our heart and soul. Her smile lit up the room and her professed love of God was something she shared with everyone she encountered. Patricia E Boutwell was a direct descendant of the founders of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Ronald Easley and Alton Boutwell; her son, Carey Easley; her daughters, Celeste Easley and Deborah Knight and her grandson, Ryan Davis.
Patricia is survived by her loving children, Rhonda Breland Cox (Roy) (Ronnie P Breland deceased), Brian Easley (Lesha), Renee Davis (Robert), Beverly Coaker (Bill).
How appropriate that someone with such a huge heart was born on February 14,1934 - Valentines day! God called her home on November 9, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Our nana was number 6 of 8 siblings, mother to 6 children, grandmother to 13 grandchildren, great grandmother to 26 great grandchildren, great great grandmother to 7 great great grandchildren with one on the way, and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
Our nana spent the last 36 years serving the citizens of Lamar county. Initially she completed a term as supervisor following the death of her beloved husband Ronald Easley (papa pug). For the last 33 years she has been honored to serve as election commissioner of Lamar county. Our nana was the matriarchy of our family. She molded each of us into the individuals that we are. She will be greatly missed by many and will be forever be cherished by all.
Family and friends are invited to attend Patricia's Funeral Mass on Monday, November 13, 2023 for 11:00 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 379 W Seneca Rd, Lumberton, MS . Visitation will begin at 9:30 am. Interment to follow in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery.
