Ronald William Begin

Ronald W. Begin, 80, of Lufkin, Texas, was born March 9, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan, son of the late Germaine Myriand and Peter Begin. He passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022 in Hospice in the Pines.

Ronald loved his family, they were his top priority. On his free time, he enjoyed flying around and watching the stock market. He proudly served in the Air Force during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Begin of Lufkin; daughters, Rowena M. Begin of Kansas City, Missouri and Loni M. Fredrick and son-in-law, Danny of Nacogdoches; sons Randy W. Begin of Lufkin, and Robert Lee Begin of Kansas City, Missouri; grandchildren, Brandi Synder, Brittani Edwards, Steven Begin, Nichole Roewer, Michael Begin, Brandon Begin; 7 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Richard W. Begin.
