Kathleen (Tucker) Antley

Kathleen went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 12, 2022 while in a local hospital. Her life on earth began in Baytown, Texas, Harris County, on June 28, 1928. She was born to Isaac Jacob Tucker, Jr. and May Elizabeth Poe. Soon after her birth, her parents moved back to their homestead and farm in Clawson, in Angelina County, where she grew up in the Pineywoods of East Texas. She always enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting, Bible study and politics. She was employed with Scheffman Investments as a property manager and agent for over twenty years in Houston. She and her husband, Doyce Ray, were members of Oaklawn Baptist Church in Groveton, Texas.

Kathleen is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Doyce Ray Antley; granddaughter, Kimberly Dawn; sister and brother-in-law, Mildred Alena Tucker Modisette and Leon Ted Modisette; brother-in-law, Kenneth (Buddy) Antley; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Hugh Vernon Antley and Lena Wright Antley; and great-granddaughter, Amya Poole.

She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Barbara Redd Eaves and Louise Antley; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Barbara Antley Truss and William Truss; sons, Jimmy Earl Redd, Eddy Redd and spouse Connie; daughter, Joyce Stagg; grandchildren, Kevin Stagg and spouse Jennifer, Kristian Stagg Taylor and spouse Matt, Pamela Stagg Welsh and spouse David, Derrick Mize and spouse Lacy, Jamie Louise Redd and fiancée Andres Hernandez, James Redd, Angela Redd, Cari Roy, Cal Kaemmerling and spouse Karen, Kelly Kaemmerling and spouse Cristina; 17 great-grandchildren; nieces, Cathy Gibb and husband Mike, Cindy Eley and husband Paul; nephews, Danny Modisette and wife Charlotte, Steven Truss and wife Marsha, Bryan Truss; special first cousins, Nell Ruth Coker and Frank Tucker; and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

Honorary pallbearers will be Matt Taylor, Kevin Stagg, Derrick Mize, Mike Franklin, Travis Simonton and James Redd.
