Services for Donald Ray Willis, 52, of Lufkin, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2020 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Nathan Pannell officiating. Interment will follow in the Fielder Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Willis was born July 10, 1967 in Lufkin, Texas. He passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at his residence.
Mr. Willis was a loving husband, father, son and grandfather. He was the owner/operator of Don’s Sanitation. He loved talking trash, fishing, riding trains, and collecting coins, cattle and knives.
Survivors include his wife, Vicki Willis of Lufkin; mother, Betty Jane and Harvey Walker; father, Don B. Willis and wife Elaine; daughters, Melissa Manry and husband Robert of Lufkin and Jessica Willis and Jonathan Kee of Livingston; brothers, Brian Willis and wife Tammy, Quentin Walker and wife Minnie, and Cory Johnson and wife Patty, all of Lufkin; sisters, Melissa Hendrix and husband Jeff of Lufkin, Crystal Cupp and husband Kerry of Alabama, Deann Selman and husband Clint of Wells and Donnel Pullen of Livingston; grandchildren, Jason Lee (Catfish) Scott, Bentley Ryan Kee, Colbie Payson Manry, and Kyllie Walker; nieces, Kimberly Hunt and Kourtney Morgan; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Mr. Willis was preceded in death by Big Nanny, Opal Loving; and cousin, Tony Willis.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
Services have been placed in the trust of Gipson Funeral Home.
