Ruby Fern Lloyd

Ruby Fern McNeely Lloyd age 92 of Lubbock, TX died on December 16, 2015 at the Bee Hive Assisted Living facility. Ruby was born September 25, 1923 in Liberty Community, Lubbock County, TX to Guy W. and Cora Estelle McNeely. Her brother, Orland Cecil McNeely predeceased her. She graduated Lubbock High School in 1940. She married William L. Jackson, Jr. in Hot Springs, AR in 1945. He predeceased her in 1951.

She married Fred Lloyd in 1996 who also predeceased her. She attended Draughons Business College for secretarial studies. She was a Certified Professional Secretary. Her career was with the Texas Highway Department. She attended South Plains College and Wayland Baptist College. She was a member of Professional Secretaries International, Delta Theta Chi, and Toastmasters.

She is survived by her son William N. Jackson; nieces/nephews Murray McNeely, Kay Wise, Gail Devitt, Jimmy Phillips, Sharon Scoggin, Cathey Allamon, Susan Cutshall, and Teresa Lewis. She is also remembered by the children of Fred Lloyd; Roxanne Lloyd, Nancy Lloyd, Cynthia Chambers and Greg Williams.
