Celebration of life services for Nicki Ellen Follis of Lubbock will be held at 10am, Monday, September 30, 2024 at Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel with Pastor Charles Land officiating. Nicki passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 24, 2024.
Nicki was born April 10, 1948 in Muleshoe Texas to Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Evans. She was the youngest of six children. She graduated from Muleshoe High School in 1966. Nicki married Thomas Follis June 30, 1969. Their marriage was blessed with three children; Brandon, Cheryl and Amber. While raising her young family, Nicki worked and attended South Plains College becoming a Radiology Technologist. She worked for many years at Covenant Hospital Levelland, Retiring in 2008. Nicki was a member of Ridgecrest Missionary Baptist Church. Nicki was the sunshine in many peoples lives. She would always make the best of life circumstances. She will be greatly missed.
Nicki was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Follis in 2005,
and her daughter, Cheryl Follis in 2011.
Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her beloved family,
Sisters, Sharon Gilliland, Deandra Halverson and Ginny Evans.
Son, Brandon Follis and wife Marleen Isaacs, Daughter, Amber Follis.
Grandchildren; Kaitlin (Kevin) Banks, Bryhanna (Michael) Withers, Skyler (Jacob) Fritz, Nicholas Isaacs and Conner Follis. Great Grandchildren; Kaislee and Taylyn Withers.
The family would like to extend their appreciation for the loving care and kindness provided by Lubbock Health Care Center Team, Dr Michael Mendez and Tiffany Chavez FNP, Dr Aurelio Cervera and CASL Health Care Team, Covenant Medical Center, Mercy 5 Team, Nicki’s Church Family at Ridgecrest Missionary Baptist Church. You were all very special to her! Thank you all!
