Marcelino J. Martinez, 89, of Lubbock. Friends and family of Marcelino J. Martinez are invited to attend a memorial Friday October 18, 2013 at 1:00 pm in Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel. A come and go visitation will be held on Thursday October 17, 2013 from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm.
Marcelino Martinez was born April 2, 1924 in Hamlin, TX. Mr. Martinez was a hard working man who enjoyed being with his family. He also loved listening to music.
He is survived by his children, Becky Martinez of Keller, TX, Narciso and wife Sulema Martinez of Seagraves, TX, Richard and wife Lydia Martinez of Fort. Worth, TX, Mary and Moses Cortez of Fort. Worth, TX ,Linda Martinez of Lubbock, TX Helen and husband Javier Rodriquez of Hurst, TX; twenty grandchildren; thirty eight great-grand children; three sisters, Rosa Castro from Millsap, TX, Caroline Alonzo of Wolfforth, TX, and Ofelia Aracon of Seminole, TX.
Mr. Martinez is preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers.
