Lori Jeanne Huseman

Lori Jeanne Huseman, 56, of Lubbock, TX passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022. She was born on September 20, 1965 in Lubbock, TX. Adopted by Lonnie and Janice Bell of Dimmitt, TX. She grew up in Dimmitt where she obtained her GED and met her husband, Jim Huseman. They married on December 20, 1986, then moved to Lubbock, which they called home for the last 30 years.

Lori loved working with her hands. She was often found outside working in the yard, garden, or in the house making crafts and working with polymer clay. She also loved being around family and friends going to shows, ball games, having game nights, or movie nights.

She was diagnosed with MS in the summer of 2002 but she did not let that slow her down. She still worked with her garden and crafts and made sure she was around family and friends. Even towards the end, she made sure she was there for family events, even if it meant traveling.

Lori is preceded in death by her parents; Lonnie and Janice Bell, mothers and father-in-law, Elmer and Norma, and Mildred Huseman, and by her son, David Burnam.

Lori is survived by; her husband Jim Huseman of Lubbock, TX, son Buddy Burnam and wife Rebecca of Amarillo, TX, daughters Samantha Benson and husband Cory of Crosbyton, TX, and Chealsie Spence and husband Vernon of Lamesa, TX, daughter-in-law Natosha Cruz of Amarillo, TX, brothers Mike Bell of Herford, TX, Rick Bell of Amarillo, TX, and Jeff Bell and wife Jennifer, of Graford, TX, Zito Sartarelli and wife Katherine, sister Susan Hildebrandt and husband of Canada, 10 grandkids and one on the way, 3 great-grandkids, and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a viewing Thursday, April 7, 2022, 5pm-7:30pm at Resthaven Funeral Home in Lubbock, TX. Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022, 2pm at Greenlawn Church of Christ with graveside to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Lubbock, TX.
